Meet our ram.
Birch is compact by design and true to traditional Babydoll type. This young black ram represents the direction of our Southdown program: correct size, balance, and longevity.
Measures approximately 19” at nine months of age and his build reflects the classic Babydoll silhouette—short-coupled, deep-bodied, and low set—with a calm, steady presence and strong breed character. He gets along famously with Ava (one of our Maremma LGDs) and our Nigerian Dwarf bucks.
Thoughtful selection.
Chosen to support balance, correctness, and long-term integrity.
Birch carriers a well-proportioned head, dense fleece, and level toppling, standing naturally without exaggeration. He is pointing to a ram that will consistently pass on structure, size control, and type, making him a valuable foundation sire for a thoughtfully managed flock.
Selected for both pedigree and phenotype, he represents our commitment to preserving the heritage Babydoll Southdown standard—prioritizing correctness over scale, and quality over trend.
His pedigree reflects established Babydoll Southdown programs known for maintaining correct size, structure, and traditional breed type, with multiple generations of proven, consistent stock.
